And... BOOM! It's fall.
Fall came quickly, but not unexpectedly. I feel like one week it was sunny and 25°, the next week it was 15°, and the leaves changed colors. It probably wasn’t quite that fast, but regardless, fall is here. I don’t mind, though, because now we see stuff like this:
We also got to take a short fall break. We took a weekend trip to Furusund, which is in the Stockholm archipelago. It was a 2-hour bus ride. That’s right; we took the bus. It was a very chill way to travel and super efficient. We stayed at a hotel recommended by friends called the Furusund Värdshus. It was cozy, charming, warm, and inviting. But, hey, don’t take my word for it. Here’s the proof:
The trip's highlight was “wild” swimming in the sea. OK, maybe it wasn’t so wild this time since it was right off the dock near the hotel. And we shuffled back and forth between 13° water, the hot tub, and the sauna. It felt wild though.
The girls loved chillaxing in the bar and lounge areas. And so did Mrs. Cinnamon Bun!
